MWES was
initially formed to serve the audio sector which seemed to be lacking in service
support. Whilst there was an abundance of so called TV / video repair shops many
of these seemed reluctant to service audio products. At the time it was
difficult to find a "repair shop" for a CD player even though these had been on
the market for nearly 15 years. Since our formation we have broadened our
servicing capabilities to include all audio / visual products including state of
the art plasma, LCD and dvdr.
Our senior
engineers have over 20 years experience in the audio visual service sector. All
engineering staff, senior or junior, are either trained to City and Guilds or
equivalent standard or are studying toward that goal.
Our engineers regularly attend manufacturer's training courses.
We have wide
ranging experience within the retail sector. We have held the service contract
for the John Lewis Partnership store in Cheadle since its opening in 1995 and
also for the store at the Trafford Centre. We
provide service to Kendals, Rackhams, Selfridges, Brighthouse, Argos,
Empire and 2 Sony Centres
in Manchester. We provide regional service backup for Sony, Panasonic,
Samsung and Loewe. We provide sole UK backup to Opus and Shanling.
We service the
professional sector for Denon. As a result our experience in the professional
market is growing rapidly and we now provide service backup to many large
nation-wide professional installation companies.
In 2004 we completely refitted our workshop to be “plasma ready” and as a result we are now
a Regional Premier Service Centre for Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and Toshiba.
We are a
Domestic and General approved service centre.
We operate
from 4,000 sq. feet of workshop space in a recently refurbished prestigious
complex, just North of Manchester and ideally situated for the motorway network.
